G S Haydon
I had to google that word Chris, thanks for expanding both my vocab and my ideas pile. You should post here more often .
flairwoodworks
I've been thinking about a bandsaw or router jig to make the twisted legs, but so far, it's still faster to make them by hand. I'll buy anybody who can pick out a glue line in the top a LN #7. My focus online is my FlairWoodworks.com blog. I'm often around Twitter too, and I check forums when somebody points me to them, or when I'm bored (which doesn't happen too often). flairwoodworks
I'll have two by the end of the day! ... and you'll be able to taper twice as quickly?
Eric.
I'll buy anybody who can pick out a glue line in the top a LN #7. I'll take that to mean it's one slab. I thought I caught the trace of a glue line dead-center on the right side. I guess that explains the FLAWLESS grain matching. You shoulda left well enough alone, Chris...I had you pegged as a genius. ChetlovesMer
Particle Board, if there's a race captured on video be sure to put your teeth in before you start filming. That still cracks me up every time.

Tom King
The glue line is 2 or 3 inches on the other side of the natural "center" figure of the table top. I didn't know the size of the table, so I couldn't give an exact measurement. I already have plenty of planes, and wouldn't know what to do with one of these newer, expensive ones anyway. Care to guess again? If you don't wan the LN #7, I'm happy to give you a piece of used sandpaper if you prefer. The top is 12-1/2" x 42".
