Eric.
It had to be the one thing I couldn't care less about. Are there other items on sale and I'm just not seeing them? Or is that it?
Shane Jimerfield
yeah, that was disappointing.

Eric.
Kind of feel like a jerk now, looking back at my post. Sorry, Mark. The one and only Festool I can't ever see myself buying is a drill. Just can't make that leap. There are so many perfectly adequate alternatives at a fraction of the price. The jigsaw is the other one...but I drank that Kool-Aid a long time ago...too late for me! Only FT purchase I regret...not because it's a bad tool, but a waste of money. Your post WAS a little misleading, though, in our defense. If the RO90's were 30% off, my wife and kids would be getting a few less gifts under the tree this year.

Firehawk
Hey Eric, I guess it was a little mean on my part! I just thought 30% off anything Festool was exciting.

Mzdadoc
Figures. I want to order their Roubo wood deal but I won't be ready until April or May.
popper
When I ordered the wood for my bench from them, they told me to let it sit for at least 3 weeks or more. It sat for more like 6 weeks. They were great to work with and I had more then enough wood to build themail bench.
bushwacked
How often do they do this free shipping deal? I assume their pricing when you get free shipping make it a great place to shop at that time?
Barbancourt
FYI, the Bell Forest free shipping only applies to project packs. I was going to take advantage of the deal and buy a bulk order of cherry but was told it doesn't extend to "pick-a-board" or custom orders. Tpt life
That is quite sneaky. The web site clearly does not specify.
HunterL
This page of the thread was an emotional roller coaster guys! First I see the old 30% off Festool link, and am then hugely disappointed. And then, I read about Bell Forrest's deal, and then I get smacked with reality again! I need lots of white ash for a bedroom set, and I thought I had just found it. Oh well...
davewyo
FWIW, this morning I made an order for two project packs (10bf and 20bf) along with 3 hand-picked items. I got free shipping. Dave

wouldwurker
Lowes has the 2 pack of Irwin 12" quick grips on clearance for $20. ...And then right next to that they have the 4 pack (2 12" and 2 6") for ...$20. Who knows....either way, I bought four 4-packs.

wtnhighlander
Btw, getting through this packaging...impossible. Rumor has it that tin snips were not actually invented to cut tin, but as blister-pack removal devices.
