Woodworking's fringe benefits

Recommended Posts

Mostly I enjoy making something tangible but with woodworking specifically there isn't anything I don't enjoy except when a machine is working correctly. And of course I love the aforementioned throngs of women that follow me as I walk through town with a finely tuned #4 on my hip and dual #8's strapped across my back. There might even be a Stanley 220 tucked in my boot, just in case. Always ready to make quick shavings of any errant lumber that crosses my path. Girls picking up the shavings that trail me everywhere and saving it in their scrapbook. It's like an Axe commercial.

Then you wake up only to find your shavings have turned to sawdust and the girls are actually crows looking for a handout
