Tom Cancelleri 2064
I know we all enter the monthly Wood Whisperer giveaway and probably Festool's monthly tool giveaway. I got an email from Popular Woodworking to enter to win a shops worth of Jet, Bessey and Woodpecker stuff. So it never hurts to enter, even though I have a better chance of cutting down a tree and it magically turning into dimensional lumber. Figured I'd pass on the chances to you guys as well. In no way am I associated with Popular Woodworking or anything like that. Just another hobbyist sharing with his hobbyist friends. http://popularwoodworking.upickem.net/engine/YourSubmission.aspx?contestid=157569&srid=75394991 Good luck! Hope one of the forum guys here wins. =)
RichardA 5075
Hell, if I win that bunch.... I'd have to go to the bank to build a whole new shop. I entered anyway! I wouldn't mind a new monthly payment... I lie about that!

Brendon_t 2503
Dang that is quite a haul. Good luck to all. I couldn't find anywhere that it said when the drawing was.

Chet 4936
If you win that you could end up in a high tax bracket... although I guess what you would pay in taxes is cheaper then the tools them selves. Might as well give it a try.

Tom Cancelleri 2064
donate your old stuff to a school wood shop, tax write off to offset. I don't think it'd move me in a tax bracket. It's probably about a $3000 tax. Damn government not allowing people to have nice things given to them without them having to take their cut.
Eric. 8814
Since PWW has basically died a certain kind of death with the departure of their core contributors, you can call it an inheritance...they can't tax you unless it's over a million dollars. I have a better chance of landing a date with Giada in her porno kitchen than winning any drawing. But if anyone else here wins, I get the Woodpeck's saw gauge and coping sled. I'll PM you my address. Thanks.
Greenaqua 14
Well Eric last I heard Giada is a single girl again, I would say the odds have improved for you.
Eric. 8814
Really? Well then I'm oiling up my skillet and heading to Los Angeles. Gonna make her my baby mama!

I'm just saying, I love my CPA
Scott Bailey 48
I know what everyone is thinking here, that one of you guys who already has a shop full of tools is going to win this. Speaking as the guy with not much more than a table saw, a ROS, and a hundred year old union #3, all I have to say is, when that happens remember us little people
Tom Cancelleri 2064
It's going to be won by someone who won't use it and will sell it all. Someone enters contests as their profession. (Yes there are people who enter contests with thousands of entries)
Cochese 271
If I won, I'd probably sell off the parallel clamps and planer, sell old stuff to make room.
CessnaPilotBarry 319
I had to Google Giada... Wow!
