Chet
I had one electrical cord that always bugged me because the only thing I could do was run it across my shop floor and for all the reasons you can think of, I didn't like this set up. I finally found these on a site called discountramps.com. Haven't tried to roll anything over them but shouldn't really have to in my shop. They are 34.99 each, I have two here and they interlock and don't slide at all. http://www.discountramps.com/cable-concealer/p/DH-CR3-V2/
atlinwi202
Looks good, but u will ask if you couldn't go overhead. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
Chet
I had it overhead for a while but that too had to come down in a place were it was in the way of movement from tool to tool. No perfect solution. My garage is my shop so electrical is were it is so to speak. Having a floor outlet would be perfect.

PeteJr
Do you think these would work for a 5/8" diameter hose (drain hose on the dehumidifier)?
Beechwood Chip
Industrial supply houses sell these in a variety of sizes and styles.
Beechwood Chip
At work we just use duct tape for temporary runs. But, that could be a problem with rolling heavy things. Since we're woodworkers, we can solve that. And then cover the whole thing with duct tape.
Chet
Funny, i googled "discount tramps" and thats not whats coming up? Ha! I kept checking the spelling because that is the way it looks. So did you buy any tramps while you were on their website Do you think these would work for a 5/8" diameter hose (drain hose on the dehumidifier)? I believe they have one for 5/8 and I think even 1 inch.
