JoshC1501
Any thoughts on using this joint without screws and ebony plugs? If the joint doesn't see a lot of abuse will it hold well with glue only? I have Never made this joint, but thinking about using them on a small box type project. Don't want any plugs or fasteners but looking for something quicker than dovetails.
estesbubba
A box joint is a very strong joint with a lot of glue surface and will be fine.

Tpt life
On a small box, I might drill up from the bottom and dowel the fingers. Just an anal precaution I would consider.
wtnhighlander
I am working on one now, and plan to use glue only.
Rapid Roger
These are not "Greene & Greene" finger joints but, I think you will be just fine with just good joints and glue.I've made several small boxes with finger joints and glue only and haven't had a failure yet.
