raruss1
I am guessing that any brands activator/accelerator will work with any brand of CA glue but just wanted to double-check with the forum before plunking down cash. Thanks Renee
brtech
Yes, generally they all work the same in my experience. I always ask: why do you need an accelerator? CA works fine without it, and you can control the bonding time by selecting the CA. Thin fast CA sets in seconds. You need faster than seconds? Karl Bauer
You would use an accelerator because you can also use ca as a filler. And if you don't use an accelerator when you are using it as a filler it takes forever to set.
iSawitFirst
^^^ Ditto. Plus, while its taking forever to set it will get all over you and your build. I know these things.
billboard
I agree with Karl on the filler. In my opinion, the only thing CA glue sets in seconds are you fingers.
