Some nice boards in Southern Oregon

Hello All,

I'm moving and have to empty my shop. So, my stash of lumber is for sale.

Redwood, old growth. Pulled from the Eel River in CA 10 years ago. Rough sawn. The tree was probably felled over 100 years ago. This is not the stuff you find in the hardware store – very special and hard to find. Mostly clear tight, vertical grain. Some boards are 30 plus rings per inch. $10/bf, or $4,000 for all the lots. I won’t sell individual boards but rather by the lot.

Lot 1: 14 at 2” x 6” x 8.5’ = 119bf = $1,120
Lot 2: 7 at 2” x 6” x 12’ = 84bf = $840
Lot 3: 30 at 1” x 8” x 8.5’ = 170bf = $1,700
Lot 4: 11 at 1” x 8” x 6’ = 44bf = $440

Sugar Pine, old growth, Applegate Valley. This tree fell in the late 1980s, was milled and stored away for 25 years. Tight grain, mostly clear and incredibly beautiful. Rough sawn. All boards, 96bf, for $340

7 at 1” x 11” x 12’ = 80bf
2 at 1” x 8” x 12’ = 16bf

Redgum Eucalyptus, 2 have boards left of this amazingly complex wood. The grain is just wild and stunning. This wood came from a tree that fell in a park in Northern California. If you are not familiar with this wood, Google it and look at some images – mind blowing. Rough sawn. 1 at 2” x 6” x 6’ for $110, and 1 at 1” x 10” x 9’ for $150

To see some projects made with these woods, check out my website shanej.com – look at the wine hutch, trestle table, and the gazebo.
