Pretty cool solution for adjustment with the t-bolts. Do the fences ever need re adjusted? Or is the t-bolts just a alternate way to secure the fence to the bed vs screws? Is the bed 1/2" BB+1/4" BB to create the zero clearance feature? Sorry, I missed this. I have had to adjust the fence a few times over the last several years. I live in a desert basin so the humidity swing here is almost non-existent. On the rare extra wet year it is nice to spend 5 minutes doing the 5-cut method to align the fence as opposed to spending 5 hours making a new sled. All my non-adjustable fenced sleds have gone the way of the do-do bird. The bed is 3/4" BB ply with a wide dado to allow for the 1/4" MDF or melamine inserts. I make the dado just a bit deep and shim with tape. This lets me compensate for slight material differences in whatever I happen to make my inserts out of. 1/4" MDF is pretty close to 1/4". 1/4" melamine is a 64th fat due to the thickness of the melamine. The white melamine gives better visibility but, I have 1/4" MDF around a lot as I use it for templates/ 50 minutes ago, Cliff said: I wish you had a video build of your sled man. I went digging to see if I had enough pics for a build thread but, alas. If I make another one down the road I will be more diligent about the process.

jplemons
I've been contemplating building one or buying the Incra miter express. Still undecided.
