Benchcrafted Glide leg vise

When I first built my bench I got two of these thinking I would put one on opposing legs. Only installed one and I see no reason for the second. The whole thing is in a new yet opened box. It has been sitting around in the shop for a few months so of course there's some things on the cardboard but it is never been assembled or installed. Is the   rougher looking casting with blonde wood knobs. Not the shiny polished

I do not have a second criss cross.

Will sell for 220 shipped

Put on socks and roll your skinny jeans down.

Can't, too busy snapchatting my Yolos.

So I'm a noob, where do you get the crisscross, if it doesn't have one already? Doesn't it require that?

Edit: nevermind, I found the crisscross separately on highland-ww, and the explanation for how to use the vise with or without one.

I wouldn't even consider using it without the criss cross. that's like putting a corvette on blocks. .

vintage

[vin-tij]

1. a usually superior model of a product, all or most of which comes from a single year

2. representing the high quality of a past time

3. being the best of its kind despite its age

Alternate definitions

An item perfectly acceptable at a given time in the past before technological advance relegated it to inobsolescence  normally owned by crumudgeons hurling defences like "get off my lawn" and "damn kids.."

An item typically purchased by a man who was ahead of his time and at the forefront of a trend.  Knockoffs and wannabes will follow, and will be purchased by hordes of posers and bandwagon riders.  The latter will have deep-rooted envy of the authentic original, and will project their insecurities upon them with passive-aggressive and dismissive gestures, but all the while will suffer a gaping hole where a soul ought to live. Demoralized.  Inferior.  And they know it.

LOL :D
