Popular Post bradpotts
Last weekend my best friend asked if he could come up to work on a desk he is building. I am super busy right now and don't really have time to shut the shop down. But how do you say no to a friend. We had a lot of fun, drank some beers and talked tools. It was great! Although it put me two more days behind it was well worth it.

Popular Post -MattK-
Funny Brad, I had a similar experience this past weekend. A friend of a friend spent the weekend in my shop - he normally has to go to Woodcraft and pay to use their tools, so he was happy to get to have my shop dedicated to his project. And I got to introduce him to the router plane!

bradpotts
Interesting choice for the top. I hope you're going to post some finished pics! Yeah it is actually for the business that he works for. He is going to inlay the name of the business in the maple. I will add pictures once he sends them.
Popular Post Bulldog
I am the lucky beneficiary of a friend who has a fantastic shop and knowledge. I consider myself beyond fortunate. I helped him unload his new (refurbed) Northfield 8" jointer today. Not sure what the age of it is. Maybe y'all will enjoy a picture.
Popular Post Mick S
Starting Monday I'll be helping a friend of mine in is shop. His wife really liked the bookcase I made last spring for my wife. She's had some serious health issues lately so he wants to make one like it for her. Good friend. Good people. Yep.

Pondhockey
Very nice!! I also spent the last few days with a friend, who has equipment but no room in his garage. We worked on several different (mostly slab, or self dimensioned lumber) projects and learned lots from each other's efforts. Since I don't have Merka or Festool gear (or the money for it!) it was also fun to see what those things can do. Even though the fancy Merka sander blew up. I really like how the newer sanding tools work so well with the vacuum systems.

Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk You can come to Colorado and I will teach you. You can drop by Marc's shop. He could teach you way more than I ever could. You could pick up a llama on the way!

Can anyone point me in the right direction to research the techniques for something like this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
