jimmykx250
I have a question. Im building a dresser that has a plywood top which is edged on all 4 side with solid poplar. The project will be painted. Anyway im planning on screwing the top from the underside and was wondering if i need to drill slots for expansion? I have had to do this with solid wood but i think plywood is different. Thanks guys.
Sac
THere is no need for plywood. It will not move any noticeable amount..
thewoodwhisperer
I assume what Sac meant was that there is no need for slots, since the plywood will not move.
