Llama
I've been looking online for over an hour, and cannot find them. I need four of these for an upcoming project. Any help would be appreciated. Should be brass or bronze. Thanks!

CandorLush
Havn't found the same ones yet but two that might be close-ish http://www.wwhardware.com/berenson-prelude-collection-hooks-prelude-hooks http://www.houseofantiquehardware.com/hat-hooks-solid-brass-plain-abh?sc=13&category=
Llama
Mel, have you tried restoration hardware? I have. I've looked everywhere. Must be some vintage thing... I'll have to scour the local shops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CandorLush
Where did you get that picture from?
gee-dub
I would be tempted to send that pic to places like Van Dyke's restorers, San Diego Hardware and the like and ask for an assist. These folks are incredibly voluminous in their resources and knowledge.
CandorLush
These sold 2 years ago but look righthttp://www.ebay.com/itm/2-vintage-cast-iron-antique-single-hook-old-school-house-coat-hooks-/261431474857?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=a89RpsfdCeaWhkw9xaWo2A7NaVg%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Gotcha, one thing about the internet these days is that every tiny bit of extra info helps. I found those like 8 pages into an search for "single coat hook"
Llama
I sent the eBay guy a message, I hope he is still active.
Llama
Well, I got the commission... Now to get these hooks!! I spent a few hours last night, then again this morning online looking and emailing everyone with a website. I even went to the antique dealer... Many of them were in there today cleaning up/doing whatever they do.. I got about a dozen "good lucks" and a few "never seen those" from the pros... Then I ran across an old lady that swears she has "a bunch of those" in a drawer... Apparently her husband did some refinishing work. She is coming back in a couple of weeks, ( I hope that means two)... We'll see if she comes through. I will continue the search just to ease my mind. Chet
I wonder if you could have some made. Maybe you could contact one of those "maker" facilities where they have the different artisans all at one location. Black Smith or something. Coop
Is this close enough? If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll drive over and see what else they have. I haven't been there in a few years and will be nice just to have a look see! http://adkinsantiquehardware.com/miscellaneous-hardware/

If you do stop by, show them the picture. They'll say "haha, good luck". If they do have four in brass or bronze, shoot me a message. Thanks! Woodenskye
Mel, maybe you could find a metal worker or blacksmith that could fabricate a replica of the hooks in the picture. I found this which could be an alternative if client agreed. http://www.cshardware.com/qg-301-03.html

Llama
Thanks guys! I think I found something that will work. It is the wrong material, but should be close enough. I might be able to have them plated or something... If anyone finds these in brass let me know.

Black Smith or something. @Llama worst case, since your not adverse to getting something 3d printed, is to have a 3d modeller make a set of exact copies, and then do a "lost wax" bronze casting from it. Aside from the bronze itself, it's a relatively cheap process to do at home using a charcoal forced air kiln, or like Chet said, find a local makershop to help you do it. But if you found some that will work, that'll do.
wdwerker
Hey Mel, bounce some of the closest ones you find available off the client. Sometimes it's suprisingly easy to get them to pick something close. Never hurts to ask !
ncfowler
one thing I know from being around furniture manufactures a lot of hardware is propitiatory, and almost impossible to be found, this may be the case in you case, Case in point I still light a show room for a large furniture manufacture, and the hardware used on their product is designed to fit the style, you can go to several show rooms and see furniture looking the same but the hardware is always different, very rarely one sees stock hardware, unless it is low end like RTA's (flat packs) or IKEA, http://www.signaturehardware.com/hardware/coat-hooks-and-racks.html?gclid=CK7DpoieotECFdgPgQodpsUE1g http://www.vandykes.com/antique-coat-hat-hooks/c/326/?gclid=CPT6qPOeotECFYs6gQodmtgDow&ef_id=VT0zEQAAAcT7CzMW:20170102005000:s

I bought a bunch of cast iron ones from eBay. They'll be here soon. If anyone has a source for brass ones I'm all ears.
