Question, mixing graphite into epoxy makes it absolute black.  Were you trying to match the walnut?  If so, I hope you tested on scrap and like the way you look because those black lines are definately going to be noticable.

Not up on the nuances of the Forum (He LIVES!!!), but yes I did do a test piece and the graphite was a dead on match for the existing pecky areas in the walnut.  After sanding it back this morning I am really pleased with the look.

Good to hear. 

I was referring to HHH. He doesn't come around any more but his legacy posts are still about as good as it gets.
