I had contemplated having one made by Whiteside but, with the occasional touch up, this budget bit keeps on working. Since cutting board grips is all I use it for it doesn't get much wear. As to jointing methods, putting a non-milled face against the fence to joint your edge makes no sense if one ponders it a moment. . .
