Popular Post KenMasco 36
I built this for an auction for a fund raiser in our community. I used old and great Mahogany I found on Craig's list as well as left over Ebony. and Cedar for the lining. I'm very happy with the results. All the finger joints were hand cut and the lid handle is my own design. 10

Coop 7297
That's probably as nice of a chest as I've seen on here. The lid handle rocks! Has the auction taken place and if so, if you don't mind me (us) asking, what did it fetch?

ClassAct 267
My wife had mentioned a blanket chest, so I leapt into looking at plans for them. Then this popped up. I showed it to her, and she loved it. Now I'll have to do the equivalent of scale Everest without oxygen if I want to come close to this craftsmanship. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Chip Sawdust 798
I've seen that plan in one of Peart's books and I like it a lot. Love the handle you made, great way to get some cloud lifts in there. No doubt the new owner is happy with it! My wife would say oh that's a bugger to dust! Haha... KenMasco 36
Chip, thank you. Your wife is correct, every G&G piece I,ve seen has dusty joints
gee-dub 3227
My wife keeps a nice house but, all the G&G dusting belongs to me by decree.

Chip Sawdust 798
My wife has forbidden me to use waterfall details. Dang it. I wanted to try them. Maybe I'll make them for some shop furniture. No dusting required -- ever!
