New hose for festool vac .. options?

My black plastic connection piece that goes onto the tool is broke and falls off. I was hoping to get a new black piece .... buuuut the one on there now is the bigger model 35mm and I was hoping to get the 27mm connector piece.

Will that work? Or is the hose too big for that and I’ll just have to buy a 27mm hose?

Not sure where the break is and if you just want to repair it as an option. But this stuff is fantastic. I have had multiple plastic parts that regular super glue and epoxy doesn't stick to, but this stuff works.

Looks like it? Is that the piece that connects to the tools dust port?

It split right down the rubber on the front of the black piece so it doesn’t stay on as tight and wiggle loose. I will look into that.

I am pretty sure the 35 mm goes over the tailpiece and the 27 goes inside.

Hmmm that is good news then. Would much prefer a little cheap part to a $160 hose lol
