From your two threads, this service is full of desperate/idiotic people that dont know how to price things! Where do i sign up?? Seriously though, is this popular in canada or something? I dont think ive ever heard of it.

Offer up is a place to sell things

like craigslist

look into it you will find great deals

Bought a nice unused mini lathe for $50 the other day !

he actually had 2 a mini and a larger one both in very good condition

$50 ea or $80 for both

i took the mini for $50 but kicked myself in the butt for not just taking both

Just looked here as I have never heard of it. All was unwanted junk and highly overpriced. Craigslist around here looks much better than that.

The poularity of sales services like that seem to vary a bit by region. In my area, it appears that most of the "good stuff" winds up on FB marketplace, rather than CL or OfferUp.

I regularly check Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo and FB Marketplace for items I want/need.  There is a lot of overpriced crap, but many times I have talked my way into better deals or just found a hidden gem (I got 5 Stanly handplanes, including a #7 for $50).
