Grrrrrrr.....just cracked my end cap trying to fit the dove tails. F0920C0B-1E65-4982-B637-EE1484675DEC.thumb.jpeg.0b6e672107ff97c79609fd4b4c1910f7.jpeg

I guess I will be remaking the end cap. This is gonna be tricky getting the bolt holes lined up, but I should be able to do it.

I could epoxy it and call it good, but it would bother every time I see it.

Epoxy it and move on..  Just be sure to get epoxy down in there!  In the grand scheme of thing, you'll never see it and the epoxied fix will be plenty strong for this instance.

I think I am with Kev on this.  Trying to line up new holes can end up being way more aggravating and time consuming than thinking about the fact that you have a little epoxy in the project.

Glad to see you are having a chance to get back at it.

Life has been crazy lately. Slammed at work, camping with the family and other projects around the house. Shop got pretty messy with all those things going on. Finally mustarded up the energy to get it cleaned and organized last weekend. Hoping to keep it that way and keep trucking in the bench.

Goal is is to have the tail vise installed by end of the day tomorrow.

So far, so good.  Keep it up and you will be done in no time.

Hoping to start milling some boards for the base this week. Was too busy Sunday to get in the shop. Had to get some tooling design work completed for work, meat on the smoker and the complete waste of time super bowl.

Thoroughly enjoying the build right now. Hard to get actual work done when I am sitting on the other side of the wall from the bench. I just want to get out there and keep going. So close to the finish line.

My shop door is within arms reach of my work at home desk. I've been using my "15min" breaks to glue on edge banding or other quick tasks to make what i'm working on in the evening go that much faster. It's a nice break.

Kinda been doing the same thing. During conference calls I come out and do small things like router setup etc etc. I will say I am getting alot of shop time with this working from home and stay at home order. That order just got extended to May 4th.

would really love to start on the base today, but I have work work to catch up on.

With that many dogs you could run the Iditerod! :)

Tops flattened. I was pretty nervous setting this up. Worked out great though.

Have some tools marks to clean up, but turned out nice and flat.

Get a puppy they said, it will be fun they said. Meet Albert
