Isaac
They do look good. Not a bad price. https://www.woodcraft.com/products/woodriver-clamping-system?gclid=Cj0KCQiA5aTUBRC2ARIsAPoPJk9-38ttZJCYbJ1eQB-T2b0BhtkuDqphOG3A8wPulTkVChL41Y07IMEaAo9REALw_wcB The only hassle I can think of is they appear to have limited range and they looks pretty bulky. If you use them to clamp 30" wide panels one day, and 12" wide panels the next, looks that might exceed the range these can cover, so you'd have switch the caul parts or have extra sets. gee-dub
Had some. Sold 'em. They do not work as well as on e might think. They do combine cauls and end pressure so, if that is your bug-a-boo they may work well for you. For normal panel glue ups I found them more limiting than advantageous. YMMV.
Chestnut
I find the throw away your other clamps very misleading. I don't think i could live without my other clamps beings that i don't glue panels up all that often. When i do a perfect jointed board doesn't take much pressure. mat60
Well..I don't want to hurt any feelings but I wouldn't throw away my pipe clamps for them.
..Kev
Thanks but, I'll stick with my parallels and some cauls when needed..
Immortan D
I use my parallels on their sides, clamp with little force, and put weights on the panel to keep it down. But those clamps looked interesting at first, now not so much.
Tom King
I have some buried in a storage building somewhere that I bought when I was young, and foolish. They do work, but not worth the trouble over regular clamps.
