2 semi answers  #1  I think so  #2  I think so.  I got as far as 7 digits in college.  that was way to much work for me.  Never again.

The current world’s record is 100,000 digits by a guy in Japan. It took him 16 hours.

At our elementary school Pi Day celebration three kids got over 100 digits (2 4th graders and 1 5th grader) with the winner at 108.

Every kid in the school got a Moon Pie at lunch. Was a glorious day!
