bradpotts
Don’t know if this has been discussed but this guy has a bunch of really good videos. I like that he does more complex projects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fcschoenthal
I ran across his floating hall table and watched the series. I agree that he really does a good job. I'll have to watch some of the rest of his work. Chris "It's never too late to have a happy childhood"
Coop
I just watched his 4 series floating hall table build. I like this guy. Thanks Brad & Chris.
..Kev
I've been watching him for a while.. He's certainly changed with his sponsorships! I don't begrudge anyone making a profit from their work, just a little more in your face than I like. Personal observation I suppose.. JosephThomas
I've watched all his stuff, it is pretty good. I learned a lot of simple techniques from his older videos, but I also like the more complex stuff he's done lately. As for the sponsorships, seems like 3/4 of the channels I watch have started doing this, so I've grown accustomed to it...some ppl are more annoying than others though, and I've unsubbed a few channels, mostly the ones that are constantly trying to sell me on website building tools or other stuff that's not even related to woodworking. fcschoenthal
One thing I noticed is that he goes through a lot of detail in his videos. His first project has 10 videos associated with it that are each a decent length. Sometimes a good thing, other times not. Popular Post bradpotts
I don’t mind the push for sponsors. I feel like if I am getting the videos for free, that is the price I have to pay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chestnut
I prefer sponsors over ads, but if a sponsor is basically making you run ads in your videos I'll just skip that part. I like how Marc does his sponsors.
Woodenskye
Guy does some good videos and has advanced in the projects that he does. I just tune out the sponsorship stuff. I know that when he is getting ready to layout cuts or joinery I'm going to get an incra commercial. bradpotts
I like my incra stuff so I would throw a couple good words there way for some free stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post Minnesota Steve
Guy also has a podcast with Freddy Roman and Justin DiPalma. https://www.theatgpodcast.com/ The episodes do tend to ramble a bit, and there's a lot less fart jokes than woodtalk, but they're really knowledgeable. Especially Freddy Roman.
TheAverageCraftsman
I will gladly watch an ad or sponsor plug as payment for consuming content. It is a ton of work to pump out that content and I have no problem helping them make money off of it.

Tim, I stumbled on your channel a couple of weeks ago and you, probably better than most here, know the work it takes to produce. I really like the way you are putting your projects and videos together. Keep up the good work and we'll be talking about all the ads and sponsors we watch on your channel. I don't mind watching the sponsor plugs, I just get jealous of all the stuff they get. In addition to my full time job I've been flipping a house recently so it's been hard finding time to produce videos but I have four in the hopper that I should be able to release over the next four weekends. They're real woodworkers/craftsmen producing content, not content producers whose content happens to be making stuff.
