legenddc
Not mine, just saw this ad on Craigslist. K3 Winner sliding table saw $ 4000. A3-31 jointer-planer $ 3000. https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/tls/d/hammer-k3-sliding-table-saw/6552618746.html
Chet
I am always suspect when an ad just links the manufacturer's photos instead of photos of the actual machine being sold.

Kinda lazy when you are trying to sell 2 higher price items.
pkinneb
I agrees Chet. If this is newer version A3/31 in good condition not a bad price though.
legenddc
Agreed. If you expect to sell something for that much, go take some pictures. Your other options up here right now include a 6" Grizzly jointer from the late 80's/early 90's covered in rust for $950...
Pwk5017
Im sure its gently used, but i purchased a KF700 for the same price as his k3. Heavier build, better sliding table, and shaper. I see Hammer stuff occasionally, and I am not too compelled by the asking price. Albeit, a lot of the hammer units on the used market are about as new as you can get, id rather buy the next step up from Felder or SCMI. There was a 2005-2006 16" J/P SCMI elite for sale on the west coast for $3700, which would have been a great buy. Still, cool to see these machines pop up occasionally on craigslist. Might be within the budget of some guys that otherwise wouldnt consider them.
bglenden
The A3/31 with helical head is just under $5k new today, so adding the mobility kit and shipping charge the new price would be in the vicinity of $6k, so I think $3k is fair. (Although they do go on sale from time to time). (The straight knife version is currently on sale for $3300).
