This is looking really nice. Is the glass cutting easy?

Thanks! Yes very easy especially straight cuts on flat glass like this. Just score it and snap it in half

Paul, out of curiosity, did Mike mention why he chose not to drawbore the M&T joints? He does it often and just wondered why not on this piece.

That came out super Paul.  Real nice work and attention to detail.

No and I didn't think to ask. I would have said due to the class environment but he didn't do it on the original piece either. Given his eye and understanding of design another guess is he didn't want to draw attention away from the case (kumiko)

Thank you sir!! Its just a good thing we have folks like Derek and Joe around here to keep us humble :)

I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge and craftsmanship at all levels that gets shared on this site. Thanks to all!!

That's really something else Paul.  That is some nice work.  The stand looks great against the floor.  My Lab would taker that out in a minute going to the front door.  He uses a "no holds barred" attitude when answering the doorbell.

I see know reason you can't post pictures of this process, we like all forms of building.

Last journal for a while as I have started the process of finishing our basement which will most likely take me through the end of the year. Should be a fun project as its primarily going to be an entertaining space with a game room, bar, and home theater. hanks again for following along!

Mis titled. Fixed:  Pekovich Case floating above stand.
