I think I will start raising quail again. I’ve never seen pickled chicken eggs at a bar.

Coop my wife brother when he was little would eat 20 quail eggs. He would go around telling everybody how many eggs he could eat. But he wouldn’t tell they were quail eggs.

I raised them for almost two years, incubating the eggs. Worse than rabbits

The ole boy may be tight, but he did cough up the money for a tiger hard maple log. 10 ft long 22” on the small end.

So you’re the one that’s been graffiti painting all of the rail cars that come thru Houston? ;)

Nice table Rickey, I love to work with butternut, beautiful wood for sure. He did a great job, you’ll be enjoying it for many many years

Beautiful table.  Really like the bookmatch on the top and the color.  Not exactly sure what but something bugs me about the bottom shelf that makes me think I would've done something different.  I think maybe it's too low and I might've gone a couple inches higher.  Just the same, I really like it.

I’m betting it came off of a mountain close by. I may have a sister board or two in my stash.

Byrdie, I have a old old table that we copied that table from. The old one made out of hard maple and I don’t like hard maple unless it’s tiger hard maple. The bottom shelf just like the old table.

Here’s some 4/4 curly cherry lumber that came out of the kiln today.

Here’s a pic of all my hardworking woodworking buddies wanting to help on this tiger hard maple log for some cheap tiger lumber. Say the word sawmill and needing help, watch the Big Boy’s run.  :lol: Houston Price!!!

It's not my fault you live 1,000 miles away. I'd be there to help buy a 16 hour drive is a rough commute just for discounted lumber. Plus i don't know that you'd want to compete with Minnesota prices :P. I bought some walnut for $2 / BF.
