I would have to....we both said the first log was the good one. Buying logs like buying a pig in a tow sack. You can’t see forsure what you are buying.

I went to my log yard today looking for logs. I found a rainbow cucumber log, never seen a rainbow one before. The guy at the log yard said he had never seen one before. I will be getting it in the morning.

Rickey, I went by Wilchers on the way home . 15 Walnut logs. I saw what I think were two 30 inch Butternut logs...

That would be big butternut logs, if they are butternut. 

Call them and see in the morning and what they want for them. I don’t think they will sell me any logs. I have tried to buy logs from them before. But you are in the family!

I'll call Debra tomorrow. If they are Butternut they will have to stay in Tenn.

I ain’t about to tell you what I paid for “prime” walnut today. The first log is great looking but I’ve gotta have some of the second one. Sooner or later I’ll be priced out of walnut construction unless I can start flipping some. When is the second log coming out? Hopefully before I retire :mellow:

Rick I am  just about out of butternut lumber, I still have a little. But the super good boards are gone. That ole boy in Houston got the super good boards.

Not yet, still working on it. Needs a lot of sanding, tenon removed and bottom sanded, then a finish put on it.
