Not being from the south, so excuse this northerner, but what the heck is a cat head biscuit?
Coop 7447
Got their name due to the size. You can go thru a stick of butter and a half pint of Mayhaw jelly on a dozen of them. Assuming you still had that many people in your house the next morning.
wtnhighlander 7570
The perfect accessory for cathead biscuits is a blend of real dairy butter and molassas. Even on a warm day in Houston, the mix should be thick enough to tear the biscuit in two when dragged across the plate. A couple of those, chasing down 3 eggs and a quarter-pound of bacon, would get you buy from sun-up to dinner, behind a pair of mules and a plow. Or a cross-cut saw and an axe.

Tpt life 2756
Tree felling with an axe, mule team wagon pulling, and draft horse plowing I remember from my extreme youth in western NY State. I would not say those are southern concepts as much as hill people concepts.

Popular Post B1rdhunter 261
Spanky, I finally finished up my staircase. You might notice a little curl in that first QSWO tread.
Spanky 1223
I can see some in the first tread. I have some super good curly white oak lumber but it’s going to Bmac. If I come up with anymore and you can talk your wife out of a quilt or two we may workup a trade. If you ever come see your sister- in law.
B1rdhunter 261
Probably could sneak a few out. I count 11 tops waiting and I'm to busy working on stuff I want to do right now to look at the Longarm machine.
