Welcome to the forums Joe, glad to have you with us.  Being an educator can be a tough thankless job at times.  Please don't be too harsh on our spelling and grammar around here. ;)

I taught math, so don't worry about such. I spent 29years with 8th graders, so trying to rip and crosscut a sheet of oak doesn't scare me at all

Hi Joe! I lived over in Forrest City / Rutherford county, some time ago. Back home in West TN these days, but I sure miss the scenery, sometimes.

Welcome!

Drove the tail a few years ago during the eclipse week. I took it much slower than some of the crazies on motorcycles. Loved that area. We camped around Telico Plains.

Welcome from SE TN. You are very close to some outstanding trout fishing.

Chestnut, the Tellico River and tributaries are great fishing and beautiful scenery, too. I have heard that NC state police have clamped down on the two wheelers on the Tail.

I watched an eagle or hawk grab a fish out of one of the streams so i believe it.

Welcome. I am basically just over the dragon from you. Outside of Maryville here. I took the kids to the Polar Express railway in your town a couple of years ago.
