wouldwurker
I picked up two Adze(s) from the upstairs tool shop at Roy Underhill's school. After 15 hours in a 5 amp electrolysis "dip", it cleaned up a bit, but still a ways to go. Anyone recognize this makers mark? Thanks Before and after pics below

Tpt life
That has some similarity to the hammer and compass that was the East German industrial icon. It varies enough so I don’t think that’s it, but there may be a Euro connection. I’ve searched three mountains, three gables, TWV, and dividers as trademark or foundry mark. Gary Beasley
It looks like it could be HS A, crossbar on the H seems damaged. Which only adds to the mystery.
wouldwurker
if you fill in what may be a few worn lines, it could be a diamond?
Immortan D
Apparently it's a Woodings-Verona adze. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-WOODINGS-VERONA-ADZE-Ship-building-Timber-Hewing-NPRY-/173527534030 Edit: yep, that logo's been registered by a WOODINGS-VERONA TOOL WORKS (Verona, Pennsylvania) according to this Canadian trademark site.
Tpt life
Well done. I chased trademark logs a long way, but you had success!

You are the man and thanks. Out of curiosity, what was your process to find it?

I googled "old adze makers" and gathered a list of 6 or 7 candidates from a forum post, then googled images for each one. Your adze was the first result for "Verona adze".
