This is my temporary bench. Cluttered with the latest project, hand planes and other stuff. I plan on building a Scandinavian style bench in the near future. What’s your bench look like?

If you go to the top of the page here and click on Google Search and enter Roubo Benches or Nicholson Benches you will see a number of past threads that may give you ideas of what other members have built.

You have quite a MacGyver wise.  Are these hydraulic lifts ? Your bench looks like mine, without the gardening tools left on it.  The main drawback of such a bench, is the lack of clamping on it.  My top is just a single sheet of plywood,  it is not strong enough to put holddown thru it.

It's a guitar makers vice. Handy but not as good as a nice heavy duty tail vice!
