whoisjohngalt
Re-read that title. I'm not talking about getting epoxy out of a mold (which is what Google seems to think). I have two one-gallon jugs each containing one part of the epoxy. The jug with the hardener has mold growing inside the bottle. As an experiment I tried mixing a batch of epoxy and using it. It worked fine but the finished product smelled like mold. Any thoughts or experiences on how to remedy this situation? Or is it time to chuck it? Mark J
Certainly a new one for me, but I think a phone call to the product maker might get you some useful information. I assume you've had the product in your shop for a while?
drzaius
I've never heard of epoxy going moldy, and I've had epoxy sitting on the shelf for many years & not have it go bad.. A call to the manufacturer is in order here. They will be able to tell you what can be done, an how to prevent it form happening again.
