Yo_Im_Sam
https://norfolk.craigslist.org/tls/d/moyock-delta-10-inch-table-saw/7065150399.html Looking for a table saw. Saw this on Craig’s list. Is it worth buying or should I just get a $250 from HD or Lowe’s?
Tpt life
If it runs, $75 is not a bad price. Know that vintage may require bearings or the like to be replaced. Also know it comes without riving knife or splitter. If you have the safety experience to run it, that $75 could make you the money for better than the $250 saw. My two cents.
RichardA
One other point that needs to be made. Delta has gone downhill faster than a snowball headed for hell, and parts are hard to come by or nonexistent. And their customer service sucks from what I'm told. Just a heads up.
drzaius
Delta most definitely will not have parts for any older Delta products, including that saw. After one of the recent buyouts, the new owner scrapped the entire stock of parts for non-current machines. Sort of like a big FU to all the past customers.
curlyoak
$75 if it runs and the fence works, buy it, much more than a 250 home depot.
wtnhighlander
Definitely worth $75, if the motor runs. That saw has the advantage of the motor living INSIDE the confines of the housing, not hanging out the back as most older contractor saws do.
