Need some hinges for a project, don't want to go all the way to Brusso, but the $3 hardware store ones scare me a bit too. That’s where I got my last pair for the Pennsylvania spice box I’m slowly building... they’re a bit more money but I have to say they’re really nice. If you’re looking for a mortised lock, you can get cheap ones for under $20 and Horton’s will run you $50+ but the quality is always there.
