Popular Post MJC
So I don’t really recall when I stumbled upon this guy but he has these tool sales which might be from someone moving, maybe an estate, or just someone selling their tools they no longer use but in any event he always seems to have great items. I received an email tonight from him and this was the email and pictures from the email. Not sure if any of these might interest anyone but if they do I can get you in touch with him and he can add you to his mailing list to keep you updated on his sales. Good Evening Tool Sleuth's, A nice Prairie Village sale is coming your way this Friday, March 6th from 9 am - 12 pm. The address will be given out Thursday morning, so stay tuned. This compact shop has two anomalies just waiting to be picked up by some lucky, or should I say, fortunate woodworkers. One great machine that I've never been able to offer before is a like-new SuperMax 19-38 Drum Sander complete with infeed/outfeed tables and casters. This jewel was only used a couple of times as it shines like brand new. If you've ever wanted a top-of-the-line drum sander, this is the one to get. The other unusual item is a collection of 66 quality carving tools along with large selection of fabulous carving books--the kind which you won't find at your local Woodcraft store. Add to that mix a seldom-used Jet table saw in great condition, a Delta mortiser w/new chisels, a vintage Delta (from the Milwaukee day's) scroll saw and you've got one sweet end-of-winter sale. There will be a Craftsman floor model drill press, router table with a 3hp router included, vises, clamps, power tools and more. Contact your carving buddies and those who despise hand sanding and drag them along with you this Friday morning. Here are a few names you will be sure to recognize: Delta, Jet, Super-Max, Makita, Craftsman, Stanley, Starrett, Jorgensen, Greenlee, Robt. Sorby, Swiss Made, Marples, Freud, Two Cherries and more. I'm including 7 photo's with this mailing, so check on Craig's List later on tonight for more photo's. You all know the fine print, this is a cash-only tag sale, not an auction. Bring your own tools and plenty of muscle to disassemble and load machinery. Check back here Thursday morning after 9am for the address.
