rainjer
I picked up my Festool Domino 500 Friday. Before I start in my Morris chair build, I would like to practice using it on a few small projects. Anyone have any suggestions for some simple Domino projects? davewyo
Make the Wood Whisperer sitting bench. There are a lot of M&Ts there to give you some practice.

Popular Post gee-dub
I found it not to be intuitive. there is a bit of a learning curve but, there are lots of videos to help you. I would cut a bunch of scrap to width and length and try to make good rectangles with smooth butt joints. Going through a few of those will really give you a feel for the ways to register the tool. You can knock the poor ones apart and re-do them with a different tenon location so, good practice, minimal cost and no lost dominoes.
Chestnut
This 4 part series is good information. Or you could make some step stools or something simple. Experiment some and you never know what you may figure out.
rainjer
I have decide on a project. My other hobby is collecting Coleman Lanterns and other related items. One of the item I have always wanted is a Coleman parts rack. I spent some time last night drawing it up. It will be made with 3/4" & 1/2" popular with a plywood backer. It is pretty simple but it will give me some practice laying out and using different size dominos.
