namluke
Hi Im looking for a decent corner radius jig do anyone have any recommendations ? I bought a cheap set off amazon and they leave track marks before and after the corner, i thought as they were CNC'd they would all be the same... i guess not! I'm based in the UK so that might be a slight issue with brands such as Woodpecker. Thanks for your help.
wtnhighlander
Do you mean a radius jig to use with a router? Pretty simple to make a jig of any radius to work with a flush trim bit, with a few scraps of plywood. Am I misunderstanding what you need? Tpt life
Can you get a picture of what you mean by track marks?
JohnG
I had been given the Woodriver corner radius jig set and they all seemed to be not quite 90* so there would be a slight divot ~1.5” away from the corner on both edges if I ran the router to the stops. However, I found that if I ran the router just far enough to reach the tangent on both edges I could avoid that happening.
Tpt life
Ah, over travel. That seems a mismatch between jig and bit?
jussi
Some of the Chinese websites like banggood sell them. No personal experience but there are a lot of YouTube vids that do reviews on them. Most of them from Europe. Example below. Corner jig starts around 9:15 also YouTube by hookedonwood also does similar reviews. Haven’t gotten around to it but I’ll probably order a few in the future oh and they have many versions of the corner jig. They also have 45 degree versions as well as round over

I have one of the cheap ones from Amazon and i get the divot either side of the corner, ive tried a few router bits as well. i just thought if i get one from a company like wood pecker it would be bang on. rainjer
My wife bought me this set for Christmas. They worked fine for me the 3-4 time I used them. https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-Corner-Template-Router-Trimmer/dp/B07P81929C/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=radius+jig&qid=1612511075&sr=8-
