rainjer
I add a parking brake from a CT-MINI/MIDI to my CT-15. I noticed that the CT-15 had this removable panel where the brake is on other models. So I decided to ordered one for a CTMINI/MIDI online for $25. It finally came today. I had to make a few modifications to the brake and the CT-15 but I was able to make it fit and work. The CT-15 was clearly designed to have a brake. I has holes and other molded features that line up with the brake assembly but the one I go is not a exact fit.
Coop
Not trying to be snide but, why would you want one?
rainjer
When sanding the vacuum never stays where I put it. It drives me nuts. I am hoping this will help.
Coop
I can see it “walking” on you if the filter bag is full. Be sure to check that. Thanks for the info!
rainjer
I have really smooth concrete in my garage. Every time I move the hose the vac rolls.. So sometimes it is 2-3 feet farther away then I put and other time it rolls under my feet... I am hoping with the brake it will stay where I put it... I have another shop vac I use for my bigger machines and general clean up.
Matty
Could you please describe your modifications? I just installed mine, and while I can easily engage the brake, it is pretty difficult to disengage. Any advice you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks, Matty
