Mark J
Not the only resident turner for sure. I have a Nova 1624 that I've upgraded with a DVR motor and am very happy with it. My only issue with has been the buttons. On mine these have little tactile feedback. I put adhesive "bump stops" on mine solving my problem, and the Galaxis I've seen have a much better button version. If I were replacing my lathe the Galaxi would likely be what I would pick. I know @Gary Beasley has a Nova DVR, so he may have something to add.
JohnG
I have a >20 year old Nova Comet Still works well, though lacks a lot of the features of the modern lathes.
