Popular Post Ronn W
Position the wood on the stop - turn it on - position the hands - push - pull - hit the big red button and wait til it stops. One thing about 8 year olds - they are capable of suddenly doing something you had not anticipated for no apparent reason. Gotta watch 'em. If they hesitate with a screw driver in their hand, let them figure it out. If they hesitate with a power tool, say something right away. He really enjoyed his shop time.
Chet
It's always cool seeing kids getting time in the shop and learning safely.
legenddc
That's awesome!! I don't think my 7 year old is ready for the shop yet, certainly not the table saw. Will need to get real serious about dust collection before she's allowed too (allergic to dust). I still have some trees I turned with my grandfather. I'll have to go back and see how old I was when I made them.
