Discontinued - Cab Acrylic Lacquer (Sherwin Williams)

So I went to buy a gallon of Cab Acrylic Lacquer (Sherwood line) from Sherwin Williams, and they tell me it is being discontinued.

I was in the middle of a project and was able to find a gallon at a remote store.

But... what are the alternatives? (This is for small pieces - items that I don't send off to my finisher for CV aka $$$$.)

Did you ask S&W.? You know their commercial store usually has some pretty smart people working there..

I asked at the 2 stores I visited. At one, they said they didn't know anything about their finishes. The other said the next best thing was a Minwax finish...

Check with Target coatings, www.targetcoatings.com.  They should be able to give you a good substitute.   A lot of times you end up talking with the owner

You contacted commercial? I know they know as they supply commercial painters..
