Paul1234 Posted December 6, 2025 Report Posted December 6, 2025 I am wondering if there are any fellow woodworkers out there that have seen this attachment for sale, I am looking to purchase. This attachment runs on bearings and slides much more smoothly. Any information that could bring me closer to purchase would be helpful. Thanks in advance. wtnhighlander Posted December 6, 2025 Report Posted December 6, 2025 I have never heard of it. Considering the video is 13 years old, and the only one posted to the channel, my guess is that production never got started. I found a reference to the company (jdltes.com) on another WW blog, but the URL hits an empty site. 1 Quote
Ron Swanson Jr. Posted December 6, 2025 Report Posted December 6, 2025 First question is, are you running a shaper or a router table? There's are many coping sleds on the market for router tables. They don't generally run on bearings but they do work just fine. If i had to guess, I'd say the sled in the video has bearings because it's used on a shaper with large pieces of stock. 1 Quote
Tpt life Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 The fact that googling does not produce even pictures, makes me question if this ever saw production. I wonder if this was not a sales video or review, but prototype demonstration. It does not look difficult to imitate, if you showed this to a fab shop. That’s a lot of aluminum, two rails, linear bearing, and the clamp assembly. You need an engineering college to give that to a student as a senior project. 1 Quote
BillyJack Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Coping sleds work either shaper or router table. Sleds usually work on air.. Look up Weaver shapers on YouTube.. 2 Quote
fcschoenthal Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 An acquaintance of mine, Andy Rawls, made one in this video. He also shows a reference to one that he patterned it of of. 2 Quote
