Also is there any sort of trick to making those wine bottle holders that balance with the bottle sticking through the hole? The ones that are just a single board. dcustoms Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 here is the measurements for the wine bottle holder. It is made out of 3/4 stock by 2 1/2 wide and 10 inches long. There are parallel miters cut on each end at 45 degrees. The hole is 1 1/4 dia 1/2 inch down from the bottom of the miter ( see drawing) The hole is drilled parallel to the miters. Dan S Posted October 16, 2011 Report Share Posted October 16, 2011 This Teak, was old reclaimed stuff, it didn't really have any smell, it actually machined pretty well as well.
