The subject that I sought glass opinions for on the forum. It's made of Curly Quartersawn White Oak, birch plywood, trimmed out with red oak, and of course, glass. The finish is ML Campbell Ultrastar Dull, sprayed with a Fuji HVLP. The oaks were pretreated with a 1/1/1 mix of BLO / Pine Turpentine / and Sealcoat shellac, to add color and minimize grain raising. The Ultrastar was tinted with Transtint Honey Amber dye on the oaks, and left clear for the birch.
Still lots of work to do on the kitchen. I built the cabinets over the fall and winter. Door and window trim, the floor, and a radiator cover are next...
