Very nice job. I like the clean, sharp outlines of the letters. Your choice of fonts is very nice too. Looks like it`s western red cedar. What kind of finish did you use to protect it from UV, etc.

Great work. Another question. Did you cut it freehand or use a template of some sort. What size and type of bit did you use. Would be interested in any feedback as I have a couple of these signs to do as well.

Thank you very much this was one of my first signs I have ever made. For the finish i just used Minwax Helmsman, and to cut it out i did it freehand with the router with a 1" 45 degree v bit and cleaned up all the corners with an xacto knife.
