Bed 4.2

I made this in 4 pieces so each piece is very light and easily fits out the door, if we ever have to move. The two top pieces are held together by 2 drawer catches (on in the front and one in the rear) on the under side. Each torsion box top has (2) 1x3's on the under side which sits flush against the foundation There is a 1/2" hole drilled through the 1x3 and the foundation. A 1/2" birch dowel with a washer on the end goes through keep the top in place. Because of the latch (preventing lateral movement) and the dowel (preventing vertical movement) you can sit on the edges without any play or movement.
