Guest Trace Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 A friend called up this morning telling me about clearing the property left to him by his grandmother. "Would you like some of the logs?". Silly question. I loaded up with turning stock, mostly mimosa snd tulip. Also two 24" hawthorn logs 10' long, and 3-10" tulip logs 8' long. All will go into the bottom of the barn to dry, except for a couple of the mimosa turning pieces. I am going to find out how well they turn a little later today. Stay tuned.
