Some days if I have the tail stock with even a little bit of pressure the motor just whines while it turns VERY slowly. Looking at a replacement. The stock motor is a 1/2HP 1800 RPM electric motor. I found a 1HP 1800 RPM electric motor for $135. Now I have to figure out if it will fit in the machine or if I will need to make an outboard mount for it.
