I just used 3/4 inch oak veneer plywood and sized it so that a standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper would fit inside the 2 bottom drawers. The top drawer is for pens, pencils, the T.V. remote or whatever. It was really a quick knock together thank you gift for my MIL for house sitting and taking care of my 3 dogs while my wife and I were on vacation. My MIL lives in a retirement home and has a small apartment there. It is sized to act as an end table next to her living room chair. Quote Link to comment
