dwacker
Just put some thought into it. Some machines can overlap each other. My planer dropped off onto the pocket hole machine with long boards, kind of handy. My bandsaw worked as an in feed support for the shaper. My jointer would drop off to the drum sander outfeed table. My table saw only had 7ft from the blade to the roll up door. This made it perfect for moving sheets from the truck or trailer right to the saw I doubt Ive ever jointed or planed a board that was a full 8ft long, but I'm a firm believer in crosscutting to rough length. mikem
Good points PB. The back of my jointer (where I don't need to get to very often) is partially covered by my table saw wing. Fence and tables are all accessible.
Mzdadoc
Thank you all for amazing insight! Being a gear head I can build an automotive shop in my sleep. I have every Thursday and Friday off through November and half of December off so this is what I'll be doing.
