Tom Crawford
Long ago when I wanted to post a photo I clicked on the little Image icon and got a dialog the allowed me to either enter a URL or upload a photo from my hard drive. Now I only get the URL option. Recently someone here said just drag the photo onto the text entry area - I tried that but with Safari (I'm on a MAC) I just get a URL like location text. If I put that in the "Image" URL dialog box it does not work. I tried Firefox and can drag the photo into the text edit area and it shows as the photo but when I try to post I get a message that the extension is not allow - it was a .jpg What am I doing wrong? Boatworks Today
I always hit the 'More Reply Options' tab on the bottom of the screen. From there there's a separate area below where you normally type labeled Attach Files' . Should be able to click browse, select the pic and upload. I'm on Mac with firefox
Bill Tarbell
The little icon (shown in the red circle on my pic) is for use when you're trying to embed a picture that is already on a website somewhere. The Choose Files button (green arrow on my pic) is to allow you to upload a picture from your computer to the web site. I think you want to use this button rather than the little icon.
